Supporting families as they navigate the messy, meaningful and often invisible parts of caregiving, advocacy and everyday life.
A little About Me
Hi, I’m Alison, the host & creator of Invisibly Visible, a supportive space for parents and caregivers navigating the challenges of raising children with exceptionalities. Throughout my career, I have worked as an Early Childhood Educator, Instructor Therapist, Resource Consultant, Family Services Coordinator, and Infant Development Consultant.
Then life asked me to start over. What initially felt like stepping away from the career I knew eventually became an opportunity to bring together everything that had shaped me: my professional experience, my own journey as a mom and advocate, and a love of storytelling and connection.
Invisibly Visible grew from that fork in the road.
Through the podcast and blog, I’m still doing what has always mattered most to me - helping families feel informed, empowered and a little less alone; just in a completely different way.
My Why
This is my daughter Olivia, and I made this video when she was 5 years old and starting school to remind her that everyone is born differently, everyone is special and unique. She has been faced with so much adversity, she inspires me so much and I want to provide that sense of support and hope to others. It has taken me a long time to be vulnerable but I know that lived experience and connection is what get's you through the dark days.
You deserve a space where you feel seen, heard and understood.
Through Invisibly Visible, we're making room for honest conversations, self-compassion, connection—and a little bit of fun within the heavy.
